Actor publishes a novel

Local actor Robert X. Golphin plays a convenience-store clerk in "Rounding First," recently out on DVD. The film, directed by Jim Fleigner, was shot in Allentown and around Philadelphia. Golphin, a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, is also the author of "Abandoning Adam: Confessions of an HBCU Scholar," about college life of black students.
